What started as Stitches by Steph when my mom turned to embroidery as a way to create an income for herself while going through chemotherapy after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 during peak covid shutdown. It started as tough season in her life and it turned into something meaningful, giving not her just support, but purpose during a time that demanded strength.
Life eventually got busy, like it always does, and the world mostly went back to normal so the business got put on the back burner for a while, while just doing little things here and there. But when you've got two creative minds in one family, things don't stay quiet for long. I, her daughter, convinced her to jump back in and this time go bigger.
And that's how WK Customs, Wilson/King Customs, came to life.
We have been working on sublimation, embroidery, and all things custom! Whether it's sentimental, funny, bold, or completely one-of-a-kind, we're here to make it happen and to make it YOURS!
